Tourists’ Satisfaction with Key Coastal Tourism Destinations of West Bengal, India

This study is an attempt to analyse the satisfaction level of tourists’ visiting popular coastal tourist destinations in state West Bengal India. Simple checklist approach along with Likert scale techniques was employed as a response format collect primary data from sample 300 tourists. statistical were used so-collected data. indicate that tourists more satisfied scenic beauty places, transportation facilities, availability food & beverages. They also cleanliness, and accommodation facilities. But they relatively less sanitation safe drinking water, health safety-security area. The revealed marital status, household’s income, travel distance, cost had significant positive association satisfaction. Strangely, this found negative between per capita expenditure their service-wise levels highly sensitive social, demographic well visitation characters It expected findings would be very useful appropriate policy making for tourism development.
